Co-founder and CEO Too Good To Go

Lucie Basch is a co-founder and Chief Expansion Officer of Too Good To Go. Lucie started her career in the food industry in the United Kingdom. Shocked by the scale of food waste she decided to channel her engineering background with her passion for food and the environment into a mission.

Working alongside mission-first entrepreneurs who shared her vision to build a platform that would allow everyone to take daily action against food waste, she launched Too Good To Go in 2016. Too Good To Go is now present across 15 European markets and in the US and Canada and connects more than 55 million users with more than 150,00 partners (restaurants, shops, supermarkets,). More than 133 million of meals have been saved to date by this community of “Waste Warriors”.

Lucie’s vision of a better food system to fight climate change has inspired many. She was named “Woman of Influence” for her fight against food waste and “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Margaret Prize and one of the “30 under 30” key entrepreneurs in Europe recognised in 2020 by Forbes.
